Day 11

What a morning! This was the first day of school in our new house, and for the first time in our very own school room. I encountered several aha! moments along the way (forgot to put outlet caps in, realized the baby has easy and delicious access to all of my books) and getting Ibis to write out a main idea and details took about as long as drafting the Magna Carta with calligraphy pen and ink well, but we made it through in one piece. I thought Coral was by far the most excited; she got directly to work and was rather disappointed when I confiscated her preschool workbook after she blew through about 10 pages. I have a feeling she could have gone on all day!

Thank you for sharing about your homeschooling days. I am starting our year this coming Monday and it's so nice to read about the experiences of others.
